Green food denotes foods or during production of foods with pollution-free, health and safety properties. Organic food is grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, such as human-made pesticides and fertilizers, and does not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Interests in green/organic food rapidly increase throughout the world in response to concerns about intensive agricultural practices and their potential effects on human health and the environment.
IGFTA provides technologies for production and processing of the green/orgainc foods.
